  The Team-Building approach

Why ?

In a team life, there are key moments when the teams must give of their best : develop a vision, clarify common objectives, define a new organization, and improve collective behaviours…

The concept of « Team Coaching » gives you the opportunity to reach a higher level of performance. You will be involved in series of problem solving exercises which will be followed by a debriefing. The purpose of these exercises is to provide a reflection on what you do well and what needs to be improved.

  How does it work ?

The purpose of these exercises is to provide a learning ground for the team and for the individuals who compose the team. The activities will be a catalyst for reflection. They aim at looking at individual and team behaviours and identify what could be some of the critical success factors to improve team performance at the level of its processes; How we communicate, how we solve problem together, how we take decision and involve all the members concerned.

After each team exercise, the Coach will lead a debriefing, structured in 3 steps: What happened, what could be improved, how can we enforce what we observed? The purpose of the debriefing is to start practicing an important skill of team learning: the feedback.

The feedback is essential to be conscious of the improvement process. It is only by identifying what we do well and what we need to improve that we can consciously enter in a continuous improvement process.

The consultants “Team Coaches” will be there to make sure that the exercises take place in the safest possible manner. They will also be there to provide support and encouragement to the team. Through their questioning their main role will be to lead a debrief process, which will sharpen the learning curve of the group and of the individual members of the team. We hope they will be your role model to understand how a learning process could be engaged in a group.
